考研初试已然完毕，但不代表着可以高枕无忧，接下来的复试往往比初试更为残酷、更让人摸不着头脑。考研初试考察最多的是考生的专业素质，而复试则考察考生的综合素质。下面就跟随李想老师（微博@万学海文李想）整理的资料一起了解下2018考研复试的考试内容和流程吧！

• (一) 日常话题口语的备考

1．有效制定复习计划，熟悉热点话题

了解自己的母校、家乡：哪年建校，师资，学生数量，著名校友

2．熟悉考场情况与考试流程及应变技巧

(1) 提前模拟口语考试

考生在之前可以做一些相关的模拟训练，可以以小组的方式进行，小组成员可先模拟一下考试过程。热身、进入状态，选择一些话题进行讨论。或每天对着镜子练习，注意仪态仪表。

(2) 实战考场

进考场前一定要敲门，而且要有礼貌，这虽然是细节，但会造成你给考官的第一印象，而往往第一印象特别重要，所以考生一定要注意细节性的东西，做到彬彬有礼，落落大方。其次在着装上，衣着一定要得体，给人大方的感觉。最后一定要向考官问候，带有微笑的问候，微笑一定要自然，且不可造作，比如Good morning / afternoon。

(3) 自我介绍

自我介绍的设计一定要有新意，容易让考官记住你。涉及知识技术层面的问题，发音要准确，语速不要过快，让别人能够听懂。在考官问完后，再进行有条不紊地回答。

(4) 回答考官问题

在这方面，广大考生一定要注意，千万不要只单纯地回答YES”或“NO”，而是要适当地摆出你的理由（reason），后者给出相应的例子（example）进行说明。

(1) Tell me about your hometown. (谈谈你的家乡)

【综述】Shenyang is located in the central part of Liaoning Province. Shenyang is not only the capital city of Liaoning, but also the biggest city in the north-east. It is also an important industrial base and a famous historical city.

【工业】For most of the 20th century Shenyang was one of the main driving force of the Chinese economy. Today it is still home to some of its largest state-owned enterprises.

【历史】Shenyang is a well-known old city with more than 2,000 years of history. It is the birthplace of the Qing Dynasty. The most important historic site in the city is Shenyang Imperial Palace. It is the place where the emperors of the Qing Dynasty lived. In recent years, my hometown is getting more and more beautiful and modernized. (2) Can you introduce your family? (家庭简介)

There are four members in my family: my parents, my cute cat of 9 years old and me. My father is a technician in the Fujian TV station. He often goes out on business.

So, my industrious mom does most of the housework. Climbing at weekends is our interest. The fresh air and natural beauty can help us get rid of tiredness. It can strengthen our intimacy, too. During my preparation for the postgraduate examination, my parents’ love and support has always been my power. And I hope in future I will be able to repay them.

(3) How do you afford your tuition? (如何负担学费)

To be honest, my college tuition was all from my parents. The pocket-money, however, is earned by myself. Though I took part in a part-time job, the salary was not enough for the tuition which is about 4800 Yuan a year. Now I’m planning to find a suitable job and do my best on my study to get the scholarship. The salary and the scholarship can provide me with enough money for my tuition, which will relieve my parents’ burden.

(4) Why do you choose to study at our institute / university? (为什么选择我们学校)

Beijing University has always been my dream since I was a kid. But unfortunately my score of College Entrance Examination failed my dream, and I had to study in my university, Wuhan University. Now I get the chance to further my study. I, of course, try my best to make my dream come true.

(5) Why do you want to go to graduate school instead of finding a job? (为什么考研而不是找工作)

It’s a tough question. It really took me a great time to make the decision. Actually, I tried to find a job when I was a junior, but the jobs were not what I had expected. After all, there are too many undergraduates, but the well-paid and promising positions are so limited. Therefore, in my opinion, a higher degree is required by the job I want. Anyway, no matter how far do we go in study, our final destination is to find a suitable job.

(6) What kind of job will you do after you graduate and why?(毕业后的工作打算)

Well, I want to be a college teacher. First, teaching is learning. To make my lectures more constructive and stimulating, I have to read more books, and gain deeper insight into the world. What’s more, being a teacher allows one to enjoy watching the progress of his/her students. This will bring a sense of achievement.

I’ve already made a plan for my postgraduate study. If luckily I got the admission to the university, I would make good use of the two/three years. You know, three years is very short for an aspirant pursuer for knowledge, so it’s necessary to make a good plan both for my academic research and future career. First, I will try my best to grasp the theoretical knowledge and set the solid foundation for my further study. Second, if time permits, I will do some part-time job relevant to my major and in this way I can put the theory into practice. Third, I will apply for a doctor degree and if impossible I will find a job related to my major and become an expert in this field.

Firstly, I have a profound love in my major, ***, which is very practical and useful.
